Egypt Medal 1882-89.  Clasp: Suakin 1885. (8028. Pte. W. LINES. 3/GRENR.G.D.S.). Awarded to 8028 Private William Lines of the 3^rd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Served in the Egyptian military campaign and saw service in operations in the vicinity of Suakin between1884-85. Medal roll confirms medal and clasp Suakin 1885 he was also entitled to the Khedive Star as indicated in the medal. Medals were conferred onto the 3^rd Battalion Grenadier Guards at Wellington Barracks in London on the 13^th October 1885.
