Punjab Medal 1848-49. No Clasp. 202 Gnr. Jessie House. 4th Co. 6th Battalion, Bengal Artillery. Awarded to recipient Jessie House who was born in the parish of Newbury, Newbury in Berkshire. He joined the Royal Artillery in Southwark, Middlesex on the 3rd May 1845 at the age of 21 years. Records indicate that he spent the majority of his service career serving overseas. Spent time in India hence service with the Bengal Artillery. (with copy service papers)
