Queen South Africa. Clasps Cape Colony, Tugela Heights and Relief of Ladysmith. 3052 Pte. A. Healing. 2. E. Surrey Regt. Awarded to Private A. Healing served with the 2nd Battalion, 2nd East Surrey Regiment. Records show that he died on the 6th May 1900 at Chievely whilst attached to the Natal Field force. He is remembered on the Chieveley memorial. 'with signs ghost dating on reverse'. (with copy medal roll and papers).
