Territorial Force Efficiency Medal.(EDVII) issue. (Cpl. R.F. Gilpin. 5/Devon: Regt.) Awarded to Corporal Richard Frederick Gilip, serving with the 5th Devonshire Regiment. Recorded in the 1911 Census, Gilpin came from Teignmouth in Devon, at the time he was 33 and married. Information notes he served with both the Devon's and later served with the Royal Engineers. (with copy medal index card, medal roll & 1911 Census).
