Awarded to Private James Glass Graham of the 5th Yorkshire Light Infantry. Recipient originally enlisted with Durham Light Infantry before being attached to the 5th KOYLI when upon he was awarded his Military Medal. Award was London Gazetted on the 23rd July 1919, Approved by His Majesty the King for his bravery in the field.Service records indicate he served with the: 1/9th Durham Light Infantry, 10th Yorks Light Infantry, 1st Yorks Light Infantry and 5th Yorks Light Infantry.
