Victory Medal 75059 Cpl. W.Green. R.A. An interesting single medal awarded to Cpl William Green serving with both the 153rd & 190th Siege Batteries of the Royal Garrison Artillery later Royal Artillery. Serving in the French European theatre of operations. Awarded the Military Medal for Gallantry whilst serving with the 190th Siege battery, London Gazetted 20th August 1919. The 190th was sent to France in November 1916 they were equipped with heavy howitzers. using 6 inch, 8 inch and 9.2 inch field howitzers.
