Awarded to Private James Henry Castle serving with the 789TH Motor Transport (M.T.) Company, Army Service Corps. British War Medal (M2-078871 PTE. J. H. CASTLE. A.S.C.). Entered the French Theatre of Operations on the 4th August 1915. Later serving in India This posting was his last. Records show on Commonwealth War Graves as died on the 1st June 1917 and he was recorded at the Kirkee New Cemetery in India.(with copy MIC, CWGC & medal roll).
