Awarded to Private Edward Arthur Lambert who served with the 13th London Regiment. British War Medal (5454 PTE. E.A. LAMBERT. 13-LOND.R.) He enlisted on the 6th June 1916 with the rank of Bandsman. At time of enlistment his civilian occupation was recorded as accountant. Later served in the French Theatre of Operation between 21st June 1916 later discharged 6th September1916. Awarded Silver Wound Badge (SWB) issued on the 17th November 1916. Papers records him as no longer fit for service. He’s recorded as lived at 72 Uplands Road in Hornsea. Suspender Lose as seen.
